Invitation to the closing conference of the GeoModel project

Dear Sirs,
On behalf of the partners of the project entitled “Optimal management of low-temperature geothermal reservoirs – Polish-Icelandic cooperation on reservoir modeling” (ac. GeoModel), I am pleased to invite you to participate in the closing conference.

The conference will take place on January 22, 2025 at the Golden Tulip Warsaw Center hotel, at Towarowa 2 str. in Warsaw, 11.30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The GeoModel project aims to develop new or expand the capabilities of existing computational tools that will be used to support geothermal reservoir management processes in Poland, Iceland, and eventually in other countries. These tools have been developed using Python programming language. They are free and will be publicly available with detailed instructions for use in the Python environment.

I cordially invite representatives of geothermal heating plants, public administration, the scientific community, hydrogeologists, drillers, reservoir engineers and all those interested in sustainable exploitation of geothermal resources. The outline program of the conference can be found in the registration form. Simultaneous Polish-English translation will be provided during the conference.

Due to the short deadline for the conference and the limited number of places, please send your application forms by: 10:00 on January 20, 2025.

See you in Warsaw!

Kind regards,
Maciej Miecznik
GeoModel project manager
