On November 21, 2024, the Geothermal Innovation Days, organized by ETIP-Geothermal (European Technology & Innovation Platform on Geothermal), took place in Riem near Munich. The event was dedicated to the latest advancements in geothermal technologies, with a focus on exploring funding opportunities for research and innovations in drilling and geothermal resource exploration techniques.
During session no. 4, partial results of the GeoModel project were presented in a talk titled “Innovative, user-friendly computational tools supporting the management and development of geothermal fields”.
The conference concluded with insights into cutting-edge technologies and a visit to Geretsried on November 22, where Eavor Technologies Inc. carries out the world’s first full-scale commercial implementation of the Eavor-Loop™ deep multilateral borehole heat exchanger technology.
